Veteran Nollywood actor Amaechi Mmuonago has been down with a stroke for more than five months now. According to the actor when interviewed he stated that the illness began on a set of a movie he was acting.Â
On that day, he was on set with other Nollywood veteran actors such as Ebele Okaro Rita Edochie, and Patience Ozokowor. He was about to enter his car when he was suddenly struck with a stroke and he was immediately rushed to the hospital from there.
According to Muonagor, He was very lucky he wasn’t driving when the stroke got up with him.
However, the actor said he has spent more than two months in different hospitals and an additional three months in his current hospital to the point that the medicine he is taking is not currently available in the hospital.
2. Emeka Ani
Emeka Ani is a veteran Nollywood actor who has been in the industry for over two decades. He has featured in many movies, such as The Last Burial, The Senator, and The Governor.
Emeka Ani is currently battling with chronic kidney disease and diabetes. He has been on dialysis for over a year and he needs a kidney transplant urgently.
He has appealed to the public for financial assistance to save his life.
3. Kenneth Aguba
Kenneth Aguba is a Nollywood actor and producer who has been in the industry for over a decade. He has produced movies, such as The Last Flight to Abuja, The Missing God, and The Return of the Don.
Kenneth Aguba is currently suffering from a rare bone disease called avascular necrosis of the femoral head. This condition causes the death of bone tissue due to lack of blood supply.

Kemi Afolabi is currently in critical condition after she was diagnosed with a chronic ulcer, typhoid fever, and malaria.
She has been hospitalized for several weeks and she needs urgent medical attention.
She has also appealed to the public for financial assistance to pay her hospital bills and buy her drugs
11. Zack Orji
The veteran actor, Zack Orji collapsed in his toilet somewhere in Abuja where he went to celebrate the Christmas holiday after a long movie production throughout the year of 2023.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital and after some first aid treatment, he regained consciousness but was unable to walk or talk. The doctor said that the reason he collapsed was unknown and all kinds of tests were being run on him to ascertain what was wrong with him.
However, after the doctors made sure he regained consciousness, he was immediately transferred to the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, of the National Hospital, Abuja, where he is currently receiving treatment.
Days after he was rushed to the hospital, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and the wife of the Vice President, Nana Shettima, visited ailing Nollywood actor, Mr Zack Orji, at the National Hospital, Abuja. Accompanying them were notable dignitaries, including the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, the wife of the Minister for Works, and the wife of the Minister of State for Defence.
Details of their visit were sketchy as they visited him last night. Though specific details of the First Lady’s interaction with Zack Orji were limited at the time of reporting, it was reported that the First Lady was at the hospital to celebrate the first baby of the year and only spent about 13 minutes with the actor.
However, reports coming from the hospital revealed that the actor’s health has improved following the intervention of his doctor to ensure that he got the best medical attention the national hospital could offer. He has started talking and he is in stable condition with his wife and family by his side.
