1. Ruby Ojiakor

Ruby Ojiakor is a multifaceted Nigerian actress, dancer, model and film producer. Hailing from Amaraku in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, she began her entertainment career as a dancer.

Her talent was first recognized by gospel singer Prince Chinedu Nwadike, who featured her in his music video, “Oku gbajie áká jị ngozi mu”. This exposure paved the way for her transition into Nollywood where she has featured in multiple films.

The actress got married in February, 2025 to her colleague, Moc Madu, popularly known as Ọnwa Idemili just three days after his proposal, stirring up controversies on social media.

The traditional wedding happened in Ruby’s hometown in Imo State. The actress is not perturbed about the controversies concerning her fast traditional marriage and continues to live her best life.

2. Priscilla Ojo

Priscilla Ajoke Ojo is a Nigerian actress, model, influencer and entrepreneur. She is the daughter of renowned Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo. She is more of a social media influencer and entrepreneur more than she is an actor.

Her acting prowess came to life for the first time with the YouTube web series, All Of Us, as produced by Enioluwa Adeoluwa, her best friend and fellow social media content creator and influencer.

In February, 2025, Priscilla Ojo married Tanzanian musician, Juma Jux in an intimate ceremony held in Tanzania. The wedding was a blend of Nigerian and Tanzanian cultures, symbolizing the union of their diverse backgrounds.

3. Sharon Ooja

Sharon Ooja, a prominent Nigerian actress, gained widespread recognition for her role as Shalewa in the wen series, Skinny Girl in Transit”. Born on April 6, 1991, in Kaduna State, she hails from the Idoma tribe of Benue State.

In June 2024, Sharon Ooja married businessman, Ugo Nwoke. The couple’s traditional wedding ceremony took place on June 27, 2024 in Abuja where Sharon embraced her Idoma heritage in her traditional attire.

The couple’s white wedding followed on June 29, 2024, at the same venue in Abuja. The ceremony was a blend of elegance and tradition. Sharon was clad in a Veekee James outfit for her white wedding. Her friend and fellow colleague in the industry, Bisola Aiyeola was her chief bridesmaid.

Sharon’s was one of the top weddings of 2024. It was on every blog and everyone spoke about it and compared it to Davido’s wedding to Chioma. Many argued that Sharon’s wedding was more flamboyant.

4. Kunle Remi

Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi, professionally known as Kunle Remi, is a versatile Nigerian actor, producer, and model. Born in Benue State, hé discovered his passion for acting during his teenage years. His career kicked off after winning Gulder Ultimate Search in 2010.

Over the years, Kunle has delivered compelling performances in films like Falling, Gold Statue and the critically acclaimed, Anikulapo, which is a Netflix series, where he portrayed the character, Saro.

On January 20, 2024, Kunle Remi married his longtime partner, Boluwatiwi Oye, in a star-studded ceremony held in Ibadan, Oyo State. The couple’s wedding festivities commenced with a denim-themed cocktail party attended by close friends and family members.

The actress took to Instagram to talk about how she met her husband online in 2018 through Tunde Ednut’s page. She stated that she was living in India at the time and the blogger, Tunde Ednut posted about a Nigerian artist that would be performing in India.

Eventually, the blogger needed pictures from the event and a certain young man mentioned in the comment section that he had pictures from the event. She messaged the young man for the pictures, they got talking and are now married.

6. Nkiru Sylvanus

Nkiru Sylvanus, born on Osisioma Aba, Abia State, is a veteran Nigerian actress and politician. She gained prominence in the early 2000s with her emotive performances that earned the title of “Nollywood’s cry baby”.

Till date, she is referred to as “Ble Ble” which was a character she played in a movie years ago. She has featured in numerous movies and tends to always play the role of a character facing adversity.
